Customer Requirements

This customer was using a vanishing oil to perform light stamping and bending operations on a variety of substrates.  They wished to use vanishing oil on several more parts to reduce costs associated with washing.

Solution

MetaLube customized a solvent based forming lubricant that provides excellent extreme pressure lubrication and increased capability over their previous product.  The customer was able to switch additional parts over to the vanishing lube because of the improved capability.  MetalForm 745 has reduced the unit cost of each part by allowing the customer to use less of a more economical lubricant, to eliminate the need to wash these parts, and to improve process efficiency by reduced handling before assembly.
